Crumb by crumb: navigating life with celiac disease

Abstract


Gluten-free food substitutions are becoming more common among grocery stores and restaurants, yet the challenges of following a gluten-free diet and having celiac disease are still extremely overwhelming. As someone who has struggled with celiac disease for almost 5 years, this article explains some of the hidden challenges that come along with this disease while highlighting the importance of listening to your body and advocating for your health.
