Health camp devoted to blood pressure screening and patient counseling in India

Abstract

As a PharmD student at the Dayananda Sagar University, I had the opportunity to participate at a health camp specifically devoted to blood pressure screening and patient counseling. The camp was held in collaboration with Rotaract Club of Bangalore.  Interestingly, I was the only person representing the pharmacy profession in that camp. Camp provided a hands on learning opportunity and pharmacy colleges should incorporate this in the curriculum to provide sustainable healthcare benefit to the community.
