One day in the life of an Indian PharmD student in an ambulatory clinic in the USA
Abstract
In this article, Abhinaya Bhatta, a Pharm D student from the Karnataka College of Pharmacy shares his experience on the day spent at the “Coumadin clinic” at the Blanchard Valley Medical Associates, in Findlay, Ohio, USA. This was the first time, Mr. Bhatta witnessed the point of care INR measurements and realized how pharmacist’s training makes them an appropriate healthcare professional in delivering such service to the patient and improving patient outcome.
