Abstract

Swasthya Slate is an innovation by Dr. Kanav Kahol to improve access and make healthcare affordable to  poorer segment of the world’s population. It is a mobile platform consisting of inexpensive sensors hooked up to a personal computer that can easily measure 32 biochemical/ healthcare parameters. Complete Swasthya slate costs only $800 and as results can be obtained at the site of treatment thereby helping improve both healthcare efficiency and cost.
